AI is reinventing the phone calls. We’ve all experienced it, you call customer support and end up speaking to an AI Voice Agent. Most of the time, you’re banging your head against the wall wanting to speak with actual support staff to answer simple questions.
There’s no doubt this will become the norm. Thanks to Gen AI, we’ll never have to make another call to another human being again…
That being said, there are merits for businesses to think about taking this approach as (i) it saves human labor costs, (ii) provides consistent customer experience, and (iii) the ability to focus on more impactful parts of the business.
